Just heard on the news that jeremy beadle has died following a short battle with pneumonia

Yes I've just heard it on the One Show he was only 59, Some people didn't like him, but he did a lot of work for charity which was not widely reported. It also apperes he had been suffering from a mild form of leukaemia since 2005. RIP Jeremy

Have just read that on teletext. Wonder what it was that killed him the pneumonia, leukaemia, or did his heart not have enough strength to fight it all. Might be a bit naive but i thought with modern day treatments and diagnosis people didn't die of pneumonia any more.
