BBC NEWS | Magazine | Why do councils love jargon? Theyve been told 100 words not to use when 'in communication with the public'. Had a look at some of them words never heard of some of them but talk about gobbledygook!!! |

There is too much jargon, the sound of buzz words which covers up the plop of bs being deposited. I myself am proud to eschew obfuscations.

I must say one of my particular black hates is the use of the the word "yourself" when the speaker means to say "you".
