Besides the safety aspect - Would you like this?

To live in an area where there is no mobile phone coverage, no broadband intermittent phone access. What peace!!! The only thing i'd miss is accyweb and the rest of the forums i go on!

I cant vote as there isn't an option saying just no. I would live without accyweb but I use the internet for my studies, so life would be too hard without it.

I would miss Accrington. Been thinking this a lot when considering how moving away to university is just around the corner. I love the grotty hole for it's grotty hole-ness.

However; I would love the 'black hole'. Getting away from the inevitable rat race, gaining the ability to hear myself think? Yes please.

normally go away for a month, so no option fer that, don't really miss accy but there is a couple i miss, me grandaughter,n accyweb. thats about it really, owt else i can do without, wouldn't fancy the place on jens link though,if i want to be without all that, i can murder someone n do time.:D

Well i put no but i would prob manage a weekend . only went away in caravan for 1 week but was phoning home almost every day:D

Jen, I thought you were on about Haslingdon at first, if you were then no thanks I would rather stick blunt knives in my eyes. Come to think of it same answer for living in Wales.

Nice for a change to not have mobiles going off (was a bit like that when on Hol as very poor reception where we were) but would miss accyweb and emails to son.

Well we have no mobile signal atall and never get one here, we get regular power cuts and have no gas in the area so most have coal fires, only just got broadband and its up to 2m i think, i already live in the black hole lol
