Is this the place where there were about 6-8 young ppl found to have committed suicide all in a short period of time. They thought they were somehow linked via the internet? Was in the paper at the latter end of last yr

They haven't figured out why its happening yet but most of the people are linked via friends in some way, of course its only a small place so thats not shocking.

It surprises me that people with teenagers haven't moved away from that place. I think its creepy that they're just killing themselves like that

its dead creepy to say the least, think if i was a parent of young uns there i would be very concerned and wish to move away, that aint always a choice though.

Nah it aint always possible and also some parents would certainly think that their child/teenager would never do this, so wouldn't think they needed too worry about this

just heard a 16 yr old girl has been found hanged in Brigend, says police will make a "significant" statement later.:confused: the mind boggles.

Bloody hell, another one. The police keep saying that the deaths aren’t linked. I can’t be alone in thinking that there is. Police briefing around 15:30 according to BBC with a “significant announcement”

Hadnt heard anything about this till it was on the radio at work today. To be honest im quite curious about this, would love to know what is 'making' all these people want to end there lives. For some reason strange things like this always have me fascinated.

apparently its nowt new, has happened before in other places,Belfast,Glasgow, n a couple more i cant remember, Brigend surprisingly is not the highest ratio, so who knows:confused:
