I was thinking of going but hadn't actually got round to getting the tickets.

What a shame, I love Connie Fisher. I went to see her in The Sound of Music at the London Palladium and she is fabulous.:(

You haven' t missed much -- wonder why I paid for a coach trip to Manchester just to see the FILM
Now a live stage performance of anything is bound to be more inspiring --but maybe not--
Saw West Side Story in the west end- but was in the gods and couldn't understand or hear much of the New York slang.

Me neither. Although Im not a great fan of musicals - Either sing or act, the two combined makes me want to jump out of the window.

so far i`ve been to see EFX(mgm grand in vegas), Annie,Chicago,Beauty & The Beast(Broadway & Manchester) and most recently Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, just got tickets for Mary Poppins as well. out of them all i`d say Chicago was my least favorite, very overrated. More of a live Rock gig man myself.
