you would be better off taking the pins outside and throwing your ball across the carpark as it would probably have a better surface to bowl on

it is the only bowling place i have ever been to where they only take one shoe off you so you are left not only carrying all your stuff that you purchase but also your odd shoe and your kids odd shoes


there is no where to sit to put your own shoes back on when you have finished , it seems the seats that were there were taking up valuable space that fruit machines now occupy

if you pay for 1 hours bowling you can expect to waste 15 mins of this time going back and forth having to tell them that the machine has messed up , not put enough pins back or simply not put any pins back at all

most of the bowls have chunks out of them and the general state of the bowling lanes area is grubby to say the least

what a sh1t hole

my advice is spend a few extra quid and go to blackburn , its also cheaper at blackburn because your second game and those after is only £1.00 where as it is £4.50 a game regardless of how many you play at accrington

I've not been to accy but there is usually a button on the lane that resets the pins you just need to edit the scores to delete the dashes if it moves it on,

or even Burnley, thats worse, me and Stuart used to go to Accy a lot and we loved it

Can't say i've ever had aproblem at accy,been a few times and always had a good time.
Agree it's annoying with the odd shoe thing though!

It probably is so that you don't nick their shoes but why on earth would anyone want to nick them, they're horrible.

You'd have to own some seriously bad shoes to even think that you'd rather have the bowling ones and wear them to go out in!

of course its as mad as it sounds infact its idiotic on their part, who wants to be carrying an odd shoe about the place regardless of wether you can leave it under your seat or not

common sense dictates that you exchange a pair of shoes for a pair of bowling shoes and if it was such a good idea why is accy the only town where you have this

has accy become so scummy that you risk getting your shoes stolen if left with the staff?
