Hoodies

Well, if we thought the general HOODIE was bad, then look again.....

Orange County Retail » Blog Archive » Makers of hoodies that hide face react to school ban - OCRegister.com

Oh and don't think this is an American thing either. My cousin who is 13 years old bought one of these from Abbey Street shopping center, £34:99.

When zipped up....the hood clips together right over the face. You have 2 eye holes to look out of.

it's the new Craze apparently!!

Is it just me?? or is this HOODIE fashion becoming a little too dangerous :(

I agree, everyone walking round in them, would look like we had been gassed or something.

Very handy for bad hair days, spot on forehead days and can't be fagged to put make up on to pop to the shop days.

Seriously though, whatever next? Any garment that covers the whole face is intimidating to people. These things will be meat and potatoes to criminals who want to evade cctv.

I haven't seen them, will look when I next go into town.

Might buy one, could come in handy for the next accyweb meet :D:D:D

I wonder if all the people who think it is ok to wear burka's will also think this new craze is fine as well.

With all that’s in the news at the moment, I think it’s irresponsible to start flogging these things. If traders can’t see the reasoning behind peoples fears and misgivings about these jackets it’s a poor do.

blazey 04-03-2008 19:15

Re: Hoodies

I laughed when I saw these hoodies, I mean, yeh they're scary, but kids aren't going to wear these for long without getting bored, it's simply another trend.

They'll realise how ridiculous they look i'm sure. I think they'll result in a lot of problems for the wearers themselves.

Why would it be popular with muslims. It seems its a hoody designed for males, and i'm pretty sure that no muslim man would walk around wearing something similar to a womans burka, unless he's a bit feminine?

Maybe I'm just being naive, but I'm pretty sure it wont be a big hit with the muslims.

Like being hit by cars they will struggle to see when crossing the road. It will of course be the drivers fault.

Yes thats exactly the problem I was thinking of. Generally drivers get the blame because its the norm to drive over the speed limit by 10mph or so, so obviously if your found to have been speeding you get blamed pretty much automatically unless the victim was doing something REALLY erratic.

Ive seen these in gibsons, aparantly they are becoming very popular. If i came accross someone wearing one of these i think i'd s*** myself
