There has been rumours flying round for a couple of days about this. This is the actual official statement that was released only a couple of hours ago:

"Actor Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Patrick's physician Dr. George Fisher states, 'Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic.' Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects. The outpouring of support and concern he has already received from the public is deeply appreciated by Patrick and his family."

Jeez, i bet he cr*pped himself when he read he had 5 weeks to live.

Mr Swayze: Is there summat youre not telling me cos The Sun is saying I have 5 weeks to live, why are you looking at my wife like that, and whats that bit of paper you're wanting me to sign.... W..I...L......

Oh no whats going on, im not going to beleive this until its out on the news sorry but i dont believe it, its not true is it, this is the 1st ive heard im going to have a look around

Ive just seen, i am shocked but it says he is doing well and he hasn't been given only weeks to live, i cant believe i never knew, it was reported back in january that he had cancer
