Really? I am suprised at that as there is little competition in Accy for them. Not just a refit is it?

Don't think so. They were sticking the notices on the window as we walked past an hour ago. Business transferred to Blackburn.

I'm surprised too. I was in there the other day, I use it quite a bit.

Very annoying. First The Works and now this.

Talking of The Works, I was in the one in Ossy Mills at the weekend and I asked the guy on the till in The Works section if they were closing that outlet along with the Accy one.

He said that the one in Ossy Mills is not closing. :)

I said they had "little" competition ! And Asda isn't exactly central for a lot of folk.

A supermarket nearby is all the competition anyone needs, be it central to them or not.

It's all rather odd. At the same time all these shops in Hyndburn are closing, Tesco are in various stages of opening 4 shops in the Borough. Only one of these is being opposed by some councillors, and that is on the basis of poor parking and delivery problems on the site. When every other local authority in the country is now actively opposing the siting of Tesco's withing their jurisdiction, HBC appears to be encouraging them. Bonkers, as usual.

Im not surprised that shop as closed, would have thought it would have shut ages ago, with being able to develop ya own photos now, theres no need for photo shops anymore:(

Not everyone uses digital cameras, and having the service there was valuable to those that still prefer getting their photos developed. Ah well I suppose it's more business for us at Boots !:o
