Not surprised really. Rossendale free press is 52p - and its the accy observers sister paper. Surprised its took this long for it to go up.

I don't often read the Observer but this weeks was worth every one of those 52 pennies. Although I did get funny looks when I burst out laughing in the Chemist while reading it :D

Can't remember what price it used to be, you never look at prices when you hve your papers delivered. I know that the Telegraph was 38p, but when I started reading it on line I stopped my delivery, saves me £2.16p per week or around £100 a year
