Re: St. Marys Ossy
I don't want to be a pedant or anything but I think it's spelt Bourke.
Yes, i heard earlier, very sad, apparently found this morning in his bed so one can only hope that it was peaceful. RIP |
Re: St. Marys Ossy
As I'm sure Fr. Bourke said many times himself:
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. |
Re: St. Marys Ossy
We heard earlier, he was on hols in Lake District so we were told. it's a real shame, I have no religious leanings but he was a help to us when we lost Len.
Rest in peace Father Bourke. |
Re: St. Marys Ossy
I went to a wedding he took the other year, and he seemed like a very nice, and good person.
May he rest in peace. |

Just an update, he was not found at home it was in hotel, either in the lakes or south scotland, appears he was have a few days away before going into hospital RIP |
Re: St. Marys Ossy
Father Bourke visited us many times during Len's illness, and after our Registry Office wedding, he held a service to bless our marriage. He was a kind and thoughtful man, and will be sorely missed.
