That place was always empty, ive been in once or twice but never found anything, for me or the boys

Its too out of the way nobody goes up there.
Also the last time i was in town it had a bath for sale in the window....very strange!

Not suprised. I was looking at one of the estates the estate agents business site the other day. The empty Raymans Gifts shop across from Iceland is available at £43,000 per year rent. Thats a lot of wonga :eek:

hell if thats the rent fer a small unit like Raymans, cant see much hope fer the rest of the Arndale, the "Greedy Pig" landlords will kill it.:(

That shop is 1214 sq ft. There's one next to Timpsons, don't know what it was before is only 438 sq ft and they want £25,440 a year for it :eek::eek:

With rents being such a cost, is it any wonder that traders are picking up sticks and leaving the town ?

The natural assumption would be that they will only increase, especially after any regeneration or the Accy “Masterplan” :(
