Please bring back the rabbit

To the person who pulled a 20 foot section of fence away in Rhyddings park and stole a rabbit, please bring it back.

Why would anyone steel a rabbit?

Especially one living in a park for everyone to enjoy. These rabbits are not used to being handled and I am sure it is quite scared being taken from its very large enclosure and more than likely stuck in a 3 foot by 1 foot "cell". It is used to running around with its friends and having fun.

I hope it bites your thieving fingers off

As for damaging the fence the other animals could have escaped where they could have then been injured by dogs or worse the foxes than wonder around the park at night.

The fence was repaired by me on Wednesday evening so at least the rest are safe now.

Re: Please bring back the rabbit

Someone who looks after them caught a 15-16 year old girl with red hair pulling the fence off it's support wires, she was half way under the fence trying to persuade a rabbit to come to her. He suggested she left and did not come back.

Sorry to hear about this. It's really annoying when things like this happen.

For goodness sake, if you want a rabbit go and buy one from a pet shop.

You'd think someone of that age would have a little more sense.

I hope they find the mindless idiot(s) who did this, and it isn't this sort of mindless vandalism that puts a stop to everyone else's enjoyment of the animals.

I hope Bunnykins makes it back to his friends in Pet's Corner.

There's that saying about not defecating on your own doorstep, not that doing it on anyone else's is a good idea either, but it is this type of lunacy that means there'll soon be nothing left to enjoy if good people give up caring, and putting a lot of hard work into making things happen for the benefit of us all.

In an effort to compensate for the missing bunny and to give our bunnies a better life we have donated our 3 to the park today.
Thanks to Neil for collecting them and letting us see them in their new home !:)

A strange rabbit was seen running up near oswaldtwistle library not so long ago, someone decided to take it to pet warehouse from what I heard in the charity shop. Any possibilities of it being the same rabbit? I can't remember what day it was though...

Our bunnies looked very happy with their new freedom, one of them in particular was very happy, it celebrated by introducing itself in a rather over friendly manner !
