my street has just recieved letters offering a service and a phone number to contact him on

mr wilson thinks hes pretty clever and folded over the bottom of the A4 sheet on which you are informed that calls will cost £1.50 per min from a bt phoneline

most people arnt stupid enough to fall for these scams but thought i would share the info anyway


sent a copy to trading standards who forwarded it to their scambusters team

either royal mail are desperate to raise funds or he pays for some sort of mail box service there like a po-box

on my letter he was offering betting tips which he usualy charges £45 per month for but as a show of good faith he will give the red hot tips for free the firs time

all you have to do is ring his number at £1.50 per min ( which he tries to hide the charge )

does anyone want the number ? , im sure it will only be a 1 min call tops :rolleyes:

Why do these people put so much effort into these scams, when its just as easy to do legal things and make an honest living:rolleyes:
