H.R.H. Taxi driver.
It is reported that recently Prince William flew a Chinook helicopter to the Isle of Wight to attend his cousin's stag party, stopping off on the way to pick up his brother, Prince Harry.
The estimated cost for the trip, using the R.A.F.'s chopper, is £15,000. This is at a time when it's also reported that our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are woefully underequipped, with only ten of these massive Chinook helicopters employed in those mentioned war zones. Still, the boys must have made some of their older relatives proud, at least those of them who for years have enjoyed jetting here and there at the expense of the tax payer. If only they were more like their Scandinavian royal cousins. At least all the tax payers of those countries has to fork out for is a royal bike. Re: H.R.H. Taxi driver.
I thought they werent allowed to fly in the same plane - both heirs to the throne etc if that helicopter went down charlie wouldnt have no heirs left - so would go to andrew and eugenie and beatrice?

Re: H.R.H. Taxi driver.
Things will go on in this way as long as we have so many people fawning over the royal family. The "Oooh, but they work so hard" brigade and the "They're worth every penny" squad will always ensure that royal indulgeance and extravagance continues at our expense. Yes I'd love to see Princess Anne on a bicycle and Prince Edward loading his double buggy on to a bus but, while this family is held in such undeserved reverence and awe, it ain't going to happen.

Re: H.R.H. Taxi driver.
The solution is perfectly simple.
Disband the monarchy and return all the land that their ancestors stole from the people back to the people or at least into public ownership. |

A little diversion .. sorry Garinda .. just wondered if you had this E-mail showing a 'special helicopter'. The E-mail is sent in support of our troops and world peace (but can't get it all on here ..)

This very special Mi-24 helicopter is presently flying in Afghanistan, where it is no doubt causing a stir' :- Attachment 11474Attachment 11475Attachment 11476 Not getting into the Royalist argument again .. can see outnumbered by the 'anti's'. |

Also, makes me laugh where people go now for stag/hen parties ... getting ridiculous. My own son announced this week was off to Estonia, of all places, for a stag weekend !!! Groom as pimp, disciples as tarts ... Eeek ! hope he doesn't finish up behind bars, particularly if he tries to pull whilst dressed like that !! |

Jeez, if things like that happened, maybe the Canadian First Nations would want all the land we stole from their ancestors:eek: And no solutions are perfectly simple. You are starting to think like an American: "It's perfectly simple, let's just bomb the crap out of them and they will soon be kissing our asses." |

William comes under fire again for his insensitive use of a Chinook helicopter, this time to drop in on his girlfriend's parents.
