The Observer/no news on website.
 

Just wondered why this week, the Observer have not put up any up-to-date news on their website ? Usually they start entering a few from Wednesday .. but nowt yet, and paper was issued this afternoon (haven't got one yet, think was late today).

Do you think possibly because they are not selling as many copies due to more and more people looking into websites ? (as some of our members do) .. just strange that's all. Or is there 'trouble in t'camp ?'

I thought it was friday when they updated the website. Rossendale Free Press website isnt updated till Friday.

No, Shillelagh, certainly there are some usually up there on a Wednesday and definitely more on a Thursday. I have entered posts on Wednesdays with stories that will appear the next day. Oh well, maybe they are just short staffed ?

Maybe all the staff have been commandered to other duties.

Went to get my paper copy from Spar at close to 5pm on Thurs and they hadn't got any. Odd !

They were late being delivered tonight.

It's normally in Ossy by 4pm.

Maybe it was to do with the review for Habaes Corpus being hot off the press.

Though the usual excuse is there's been delays on the Motorway from Manchester.:D

Wasn't at Clayton at the usual time or Asda in Accrington @ 3 o.clock ish. Will have to get one this morning. Has been late before though, but not that often.

Still nothing on their website ... you can get into this week's Hyndburn Honey though wearing the latest in bright pink underwear. Personally, I thought last week's offering was the best so far ... :)

I don't bother with the Obs web site, I find it very poor really, say as opposed to the Telegraph which is excellent:confused:

I got mine yesterday afternoon, after I had been to the Hair dressers, so that was about 2:30pm and our shop had them in :confused:
