Was in B & m Bargains today in Cleveleys and on the way out my friend wanted to put the lotto on so I waited near the door, All of a sudden this lass no older than 16 came up to me with a worried look on her face saying "Please can you help me find my mum, Im gonna faint" There was a B&M assistant next to me so I took the young girls arm and asked the assistant to help the lassie , Thinking I was doing a good deed and the rightful thing when all of a sudden I looked to find this little witches hand in my coat pocket.:eek::mad:
I were furious !! I then punched her in the back and tried to nab hold of her but she flew off back into the heart of the store , possibly headed for the entrance. I turned to the assistant and told him what the lass did and he looked at me like " yeah what am i to do about it?" I had to raise my voice and say to him " TODAYYYYY" SHES RUNNING OFF " and at that he ran after her . Dont think he got her though because when i looked again he was with two more assistants looking up and down the aisles.

Made me wonder just how many more had fallen for her sob story and just how much she managed to get away with.
Thankfully I had nothing in my pocket so she got nothing but how many oldies would have been ripped off with this little cow..http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...cons/icon8.gif

Thing is slinks, I would have normally decked her despite her age,but I was just hit with the shock factor I think.

Haha Jim came back from puttin the trolley away and when i told him he were lookin on the floor sayin "where is she then" pmsl!!!

I feel more sorry for the ones she got away with. grrrrrr.

Awful isn't it when these thieves rely on the kindness of their victims to carry out their crimes. Can just imagine you Cherokee trying to help this girl. Can't understand how she now thinks that we women carry our purses in pockets any more either .. thick cow. Did you not have a handbag with you, so that was why you were singled out ?

Thanks for the warning anyway. In Blackpool next weekend, and possibility we may pop down to Cleveleys and B & M.

I had an idea once to pinpoint pick pockets after I was done on holiday. sew a plastic linner in the pockets of a large outdoor type coat and stitch an empty wallet to the inside of the pocket then fill the pocket with industrial dyethe dry powder type (bright green would be good) and pop of to your local crowded high street. the first few tea leaves should be easy enough to spot before they get the word out to all their scumbag mates.

OMG! You should have put her on her ass then and there! Accrington seems to be full of theives, for instance the cricket club have had to chain and padlock their new nets together so the gypsies living nearby cant steal them! The old nets have a huge peice of netting, cut in a perfect square, missing from the back because the gypos stole the netting! Wahat is the point in that? What would you use it for? Fishing? GGRRRRRRRR!!!! :mad:

I did have a handbag so dont know why she didnt target that although it was well zipped up .

Granny its such a shame because so much work is going into cleveleys it really is looking great then scum like that drag it down again.

Wont put me off though But I will be on my guard from now on.
