So ... does this mean that the intelligent life forms stayed in the water while the stupid one's crawled out onto the land where they bred like rabbits (a non fishy simile) and screwed up a perfectly good planet:confused:

I've always said fish were clever because - put a little goldfish in a little tank and it will remain a little fish but put a little goldfish in a great big pond and it will grow into a big fish. It takes brains to be able to grow at will. (I am obviously extremely dim as I'm only 5'1 tall. :D)
