Where did the 12 armed police cars go??
 

driving to manchester i must've counted 12 or more police cars heading the opposite way around 9.45 today on the m66

does anyone know what this was about? there was undercover cars flashin by and armed response land rovers too.

this was just before haslingden and they were comin as far back as bury... so they were greater manchester units involved too

I quite ofteen see 'convoys' of armed cars, sometimes escorting a blacked out merc. Always thought it was just Greg Pope on his way back to Westminster :D

Might have been a speeding car or a car with an illegal number plate. Doubt all that fuss would have been for something worthwhile. Not in this country anyway.

i first thought maybe it was a stolen car but then from the first cop car i saw to the last one was a good difference of maybe 5 miles and these days they let two three deal with it and scramble a police helicopter

lets face it , its not realy any surprise a massive police operation would be going down in the bury/manchester area is it lol

it would have worked out cheaper though because an english taxpayer wouldnt have attracted so much media attention and probably got a lot less compensation:rolleyes:
