Just an idea over these spamming shopping threads
 

Just think about it,if you dont pass a comment in the thread it wont get sent back to the top:)Just hit the report button and leave it at that.Eventually it will not exist on the first page of threads and wont be there to annoy everyone.Dont think there is much the mods can do with them apart from delete them when they see them.Like I said its just a thought:)

Yeah I agree Eric,its just with it being free for anyone to join Good Old Accyweb it leaves the door open for these guys.I cant think of away around stopping them thats all not without chargeing people to join and I dont think any of us want that:) But Id happily join you when the hunt starts :D

Neal at Burnley Wed is now vetting all new members because of these spammers, he actually sent an email to active members to tell us the reason. It maybe an idea that we all sent these stammers PMs telling them just whre to go and what to do:D

thats a bit pointless as most of the spammers are computer programs that register or try to there are things in place to stop its only a few that get through and they only get to spam the site once before they are banned.
