Re: stabbing
In other words, its better to leave it to the newspapers to present us with the hearsay first, then you don't get into any trouble for saying things that might upset people for whatever reason.

My husband was once the victim of an unprovoked attack in a pub. He was headbutted in the face. His nose was broken and it has never been right since. I was with him at the time and it was awful. I don't condone violence in any circumstances but at least with a smack in the face, whether provoked or unprovoked, it's very unpleasant and upsetting but at least, like my husband, you can live to tell the tale. Not so with a stabbing. Why are people taking knives on a night out? It's so scary to think that you can go for an innocent night out and finish up dead for no reason. :( I wish the victims of these two attacks a speedy recovery. |
