has any one seen the banners that hang from the lamp posts on Broadway, it says floral market town, the only flowers i have seen are in the £ shop and they are plastic.

Just hope the Flower Towers/hanging baskets are going to re-appear again Tosh. Anyone know ?

I think the whole idea was they are to be planted and used every year.

If I recall correctly they have put more money into it in the 2008/2009 budget. I think you can contact them about having them near your area if they were not near last year.

...but compared with the £700,000 they wasted on a now defunct community website, at least we can actually see where this money went.;)

Yeah it would be nice for all the flowers to be back but how long would it take for yobs to destroy it all?
Is it worth the money for it to be ruined time and time again?

I saw little damage to the ones last year, and when that happened they were they were quickly replanted, and looked magnificant.

I think they should plant the flowers every year it really cheers me up when I go down town, it takes your attention away from all the litter.

Looking at our thread last year, seems they were 'installed' around the first week June, so won't be long then... :)

Haven't seen the flower tower thingies or any hanging baskets so not to sure about us being a floral market town! :D
