Spug went home yesterday and when he got home he rang me to say that he'd had the worst journey ever travelling back. He said hes going to write and complain to the chief executive.

I remember what was said about big hearted Auther, he went into the miners stike with a big union and a small house and came out of it with a small union and a big house. only last week Brown and Darling turned up to a meeting with the oil companies in a big Jag and a Rover land cruiser, but of course they done pay for the running cost, maybe if they did the prise of petrol may just come down

That's outrageous ... It costs $10.00 (plus taxes) to get from Toronto to Montreal by Coach Canada .... that includes the movie.:eek:

As an aside: I can remember when it cost three ha'pence to get the train from Accy to Ossy (one way). My god! A one way ticket to Ossy; can it get worse than that:hidewall:

OK, taxi from Clayton le Moors, to home -£3.50 to £4.00 for me and a 3 year old

bus for same journey £3.20 ish for me and 3 year old

If likkle one had to pay, it would have been cheaper to get the taxi. How is that right?

just what i quoted .this is the best time for the goverment to implement changes that will be good for the future of this country. cheap quick alternative transport fuelled by cheap alternative energy.why should the countries transport system be held to ransom by the energy companies.if everybody started lobbying the goverment they might start doing something about it because they might think is a vote winner.because they are getting a bit desperate:)

and they have already started by the proposals fot the new bus lane that will allow buses to jump the queue yeehaa common sense at last lets hope they implement it in a convenient way..
