Society will develop new gathering places for socialising and chatting with friends - we have one right here - this forum.
Continental style street cafes may develop - might take off if climate warms as predicted.

Re: Another One Bites The Dust

the govenment knew damn well this would happen if they brought in a smoking ban because it happened in ireland , naturaly it was all hyped up on the news with reporters standing outside pubs in ireland saying what a success the smoking ban was been in ireland but in truth a hell of a lot of pubs were forced to close

the govenment did this all wrong they should have allowed pubs to decide if they were to be smoking or non smoking , i wouldnt smoke in a no smoking pub and wouldnt need the threat of a fine to stop me

a lot of pub landords are actualy having to take second jobs just to cover their losses on their pubs that they poured thousands into just to keep them open and pay the breweries

remember if its enjoyable or a nessecity this govenment will tax the hell out of it:mad:

The pub trade has been dying for years. The smoking bad was the final nail.

Its now not only cheaper but more convenient for people to drink in a house.
