Does anyone know what's happed to Sayers in Accy Arndale? :confused:
I was walking past this morning and they ripping all the shop out, has it gone bust or summat? :confused:

That's a shame, I quite liked it, though I saw no difference between there and Gregs. Did seem strange that they would set up so close.

Saw that sayers had been taken over last night, and that 15 shops or so had been closed, looks like Accy was one of them

No, yet another arndale centre shop to close. Cant say i used it much but looked yesterday and Im sure it mentioned administrators on the notice

Yep, that makes 6 empty shops in there now, not that many left to go lol

Administrators went in at 11:30 yesterday and gave the staff the bad news, no doubt in their own inimitable style; I don't know how folk can do that job and still sleep.
I feel sorry for the staff, it's a horrible way to lose your job.:(

been binned a few times in that n other ways,aint no nice way to get dumped on.:(

I cant see that opening for very long either:(

The kids like greggs but I only ever got my sausage roll from Sayers

Never tried that Greenhalgh's apart from those kiddie Gingerbread men thingies:D

Greg's has gone down hill since they refitted the shop. Their pies and pasties are nearly always lukewarm to cold and greasy to boot.
Mind you not many places can make a decent pie these day's.

Think the Council should have a serious think about putting any expansion plans for the Arndale on hold, the town seems to be slowly dieing . It’s such a shame.
