It's just another example to prove that the do-gooder's who stopped caning, smacking and any other sort of discipline have created a generation of uncontrollable, ignorant, antisocial kids. This country is knackered now. There's no going back. It's total breakdown of society. It will just get worse and worse.

just a wild thought that came back to me like an epiphany lol

in the late 80's the police used to block off every exit leading into great harwood every friday and saturday night for months and months to stop people getting to monroes

if outside interference is ruining a popular event then why not do it once a year :D

yeah i know its a stupid idea but the police started it lol

Its a pointless exercise anyway. Can people not find better things to do with thier time?

Annoyingly this overshadowed a great, trouble free event over in Oswaldtwistle which none of the papers chose to cover or report.

We had over 1,000 people in the park, happily playing frisbee, listening to brass bands and picnicking. Not a jot of trouble whatsoever.
