I'll find out tomorrow when I take the kids to school - whichever building is still standing means that it's the other one that was burnt. :D

Re: Fire in Ossy

i dont know what was been stored in the building but the firebrigade were backing people away because of fear of an explosion, luckily they got it under control pretty quick but i think a few people will be claiming for smoke damage especialy the ones that have just had their houses sandblasted

The blaze took hold on the ground floor of the building off Stonebridge Lane, Oswaldtwistle, at around 8.20pm last night.

Six fire engines were called to the scene and firefighters were battling the blaze for hours after tyres within caught fire.

which factory has tyres in it?

A few years ago there were a lot of small industrial units situated behind the arches, don't know if they're still there or not:confused:
