How the Years Go By!
 

Up until I moved to Tenerife seven years ago I was well up with all the gadgets. Mobile phones and computers were my thing and I knew all the new fads.

I´ve just got a new mobile which is really great. It has a really big screen which a ´grannie´ needs! The problem is that I hate the ring tone but it wants me to go online to change it. Will it cost me the earth and will this Bluetooth thing help?

I do hate to admit this..............

i got a new one june about 12 months ago, despite what they tried to tell me i should have, its a " Bog Standard" nokia that does ****** all except phone n text, suits me fine.;)

I am useless with all these gadgets but would have thought it was easy enough to change the ringtone, come on you geeks explain to the lady how it is done:rolleyes:

Shouldnt have to go online to change a ring tone.

Should be a few standard ones to choose from, usually in a menu option.

Make and Model will help a lot, you van also get FREE stuff of the net.

Bluetooth is more to connect the phone to other phones to share information ect or to connect it to your PC to again share info between phone and PC or vice versa.

It´s a Samsung E250 and after messing about for half an hour I´ve managed to change the ringtone.

Thanks for the explanation about Bluetooth. I don´t need to worry about that! I hate this getting old business.

Well!! I did state in my last post that I wouldn´t need bluetooth but having talked to a mate in the bar today I´ve realised how easy it is.

I took a pic of Clio earlier and decided to send it to my old phone which now belongs to ´im indoors. After it had searched it came up with ´junetta´. How on earth did it know that?

Well scary.
