Border Control ????
Stowaways found in Army vehicles
A group of illegal immigrants arrived in Britain after stowing themselves aboard Army vehicles, police have said. The five men were discovered on Tuesday by soldiers at the Duke of Gloucester Barracks, in South Cerney, in Gloucestershire. They are now being held in a detention centre in the county, a police spokesman said. The group is believed to have climbed aboard the convoy returning from Kosovo at Calais. |

That Channel Tunnel looks like it will prove to be a more expensive error of judgement than the Millenium Dome

Boarder Control.....ha.
At UK airports the Immigration people have a nice board behind the desks saying 'UK Border'. Now if I were a terrorist, I am not okay!!!!, I would simply copy a Airside pass from some obscure country, say Morocco!! (my Moroccan pass is a lot easier to get hold of than my UK one was) and waltz through the crew section, with a newly purchased Crew uniform. Yes, you may need a passport, but it only gets a quick glance as Air crew are trustworthy. If it's a European one, they might not even bother to open it. It's a joke, so called border security. |

Re: Border Control ????
Not quite sure where the US border is around here ... sometimes I fish on one side of it, sometimes on the other ... when I lived in southern Sakatchewan, my buddy had a ranch, south of Mankota in the badlands ... his cows grazed both sides of the border, and quite often we would see the brand of his neighbour to the south in Montana.
I think that a military vehicle would be a good place to hide .... who would think of someone trying that ... as the wise man said, "If you wish to hide a tree, hide it in the forest." |
