Ossy church demolition
I have just found this news article about the Melbourne St 'church' (not of architectural value)
Oswaldtwistle church housing plan given thumbs up (From Lancashire Telegraph) It says it is 'unused'. I have always been under the impression that it was this 'church' who owns the land next to the Pet Warehouse nearby, which has been used as a car park and is now fenced off. Please advise me if you know different. If the church is unused, why have they fenced off the land to build a replacement  |

My kids used to go to sunday school there when they were little. I thought it was still used for that.

Re: Ossy church demolition
Its always sad when a church gets pulled down, and then a mosque gets built.
Bye bye british heritage! :( |
Re: Ossy church demolition
This isn't a church in the normal understanding of the word - more like a wood bungalow which was used by yankee style bible thumpers
