Re: 24 hour mcdonalds...

Yes we absolutely do need a 24 hour Mc D's. I'm always hungry after a night out and dont always want, greasy kebabs or pizzas. And if its a Saturday night you cant even go to Asda and get something. I also noticed last week that the butty shop at the bottom of Warner Street is open until 3.30am.

In Manchester Subway, Burger King, Mc D's & KFC are all open 24hours. Its great!:)

That'll be what's needed next. :(

No we do not need a 24 hour Mcdonalds.

No-one needs an eating establishment to be open 24 hours a day.

Thank God I don't work there.

Re: 24 hour mcdonalds...

They must think there is a market there for all night opening, why not take advantage of it.

Maybe some factory nightshift workers will use the place who knows. When I worked nights we used to send out for a curry or kebabs on our last shift of the week (mini celebration :D)

risk of salmonella..... advice in pregnancy changes all the time, when i was pregnant with Tyler you werent supposed to have peanuts or prawns.... this time ive been told i can have peanuts and prawns (but only if the prawns are cooked)

we looked at this when i was training and once upon a time (lol) new mothers were advsed to have a cig and an alcoholic drink while breast feeding to help them relax lol

Risk of salmonella....years ago women did a lot of things in pregnancy that we now know weren't for the best.....women used to be told to have a couple of cigarettes a day to keep calm. They string you up for that now!

I often blend a raw egg -with kefir yogurt, banana and honey for breakfast.
The eggs are free range (can see the hens from my kitchen window) - I wouldn't risk it with shop bought eggs because their 'free range' sometimes aren't.

This has revived a lost memory from childhood.

As a child I had a habit of licking the sandpaper on the side of matchboxes.
I enjoyed the taste of the phosphoros left behind when the match had been struck. It alarmed my mother but I still did it in secret.

I now realise that my diet was probably lacking in phosphorus.
'A body craves what a body needs' which is one explanation for why pregnant women get strange food cravings.

Back to Mac topic now :D -less nourishing than sandpaper

Got to agree there Margaret well on the big mac that is, but could never understand my first wife wanting to suck lumps of coal when she was expecting our first, it was licorice for the second, which was a bit more understandable, but coal:confused:

Can't see any problem with it, if they want to open then it doesn't affect people who don't buy mcdonalds. If its not profitable then they lose money as a company and will soon stop.

you got some parts of america and the churches are 24 hours...thats nothing new there...you already get 20 hour chemists, 24 hour pubs/mcdonalds and shops...
it just how society is - all about supply and demand...

Very true GG.
We are 24 hour people nowadays and want and need things 24/7,like you said GG supply and demand.
Times have changed and i don't see any reason why Accrington shouldn't catch up with lots of other places.
