I know she's a bit of an aire head but I don't like to hear of anybody with serious health problems, hope she beats it especially for the sack of her kids

I'm glad the conversation wasnt filmed, but they could have told her when she left instead of letting her go back into the house and having to deal with the other housemates.

I dont like the girl but she certainly doesnt deserve this. Hope she gets better for the sake of her children.

I had a positive smear test at age 32.
It is quite devastating when you get that news, so even though I don't admire her as a person, I am sorry that she is having to endure this.

If you are destined to get cancer, the reproductive system is the place where it is least likely to be life threatening (when caught early by smear test).
The womb with its cervix can be removed without affecting general health, and because ovaries stay intact, hormones and libido are still active.

The only difference the surgery made to my life in the 33 years since, has been-
freedom from contraception and menstruation :D - every cloud has its silver lining

I'm not a fan of Jade Goody as she has made a living out of being thick.

However I was genuinely sorry to hear this news and hope she makes a full recovery.

Well I dont personally like the lass , but I would never wish this on her, How awful ..
Ive had a cancer scare myself and being told in the privacy of a docs surgery was hard enough to take in but to be told in a diary room.
Im sorry but this is just wrong and whose decision was it to make it public if she was sent back into the house. something just isnt right here.:confused:

When I first read the title of this thread, my immeadiate thought was that it concerned someone's pet dog or budgie, which is increasingly typical of the threads we have on here now.

tealeaf...... did your mu7m never tell you, if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all.....the woman has cancer, regardless whether you know her or not its a serious illness that no one deserves to get and i wouldnt wish it on my worse enemy!!

I've had bad smear tests in the past and being told that you have cancerous cells is the most awful thing in the world. Fortunately, it was caught at stage 1 so easily treated and have been clear for five years now and just had a clear test a few weeks ago so no worries at the moment.

But, regardless of whether she's a nice person or not, or a bit thick, no one ever DESERVES to get cancer!

Horrible news for anybody to get. Saw a bit of a clip on the news and am sorry but would have told them to get the cameras away from me(and not very nicely)

hope she gets well and all that but as far as the publicity goes shes brought that on herself

i wouldnt like my ilness put all over TV butthen again i dont choose to have my life all over the TV and newspapers and make money from it and she didnt have to run into the house screaming she got cancer she could have just walked out and not said a thing

Just read this morning that she accually knew about the chances she may have cancer but still went of to India because she needed the money, one really has to ask oneself what prise do you put on your health, if you have your health you can earn a living and follow your vocation, as quite a lot of people on here, besides myself, can only to readily testify

She permitted the tv channel to air her receiving the news and knew about the test before she went.

Once a reality star, always one I guess. I wish her well and hope her health improves especially for her children but hopefully she will realise that some things in life are not there to make money out of

Hummm, well when I saw it on Sky news last night, I must admit I did wonder a bit.
It is strange what is considered newsworthy these days, now if it had happend this afternoon, with the plane crash, would it have even been reported.

Don't have any time for her, but don't wish her any ill.

I hope I am wrong but something just isn't right about this at all, I cannot get my head around the way she was told, surely her medical test results cannot be passed to a third party to tell her in a diary room. And for it all to come out on the Indian big brother in front of the Indian nation who not so long ago were burning pictures of her in the street. If it is all genuine what kind of sick person tell someone they have a potentially fatal disease and then let her go back and film her reaction to millions of people, thats worse than anything Jade Goody did to Shilppa Shetty.

No I am sorry but something doesn't seem right about this all thing and the way it came out its all very strange.

Its the way she was told and the filming afterwards thats made me cynical.

I want to wish her a speedy recovery but something is niggling me inside.

Join the club firefighter, I watch the news that day it was reported that she had cancer, its is against the law for privet information such as medical records to be passed on to a third party. not that long ago I lost my mum to cancer the day she was told the the docters asked me to leave the room but my mum told them that I was to stay. I don't much like jade goody but I too would like to wish her a speedy recvorry for the sake of her kids.

Poor thing - I think her general attitude to life will help her - she seems to be a pretty strong person - hasnt she been tested for it quite a few times ?

It doesn't really add up when you think about it does it?
I'm not saying she doesn't have cancer and i hope she makes a full recovery but the way its come out is very dodgy.
I have never known news like that to be broken over the phone etc...
Surely somebody wouldn't stoop so low as to use it as a publicity event?
I know she isn't the most likeable person and is thick as a plank but surely she wouldn't do that would she?

Like I said Loz some people will do anything for fame, as I've said in this thread before, it seemed tht she had an idea that she would test positive before she went to India, and it did look very sus, seemingly being told in the diary room, but there again I can sometimes be a cynic:rolleyes:

Why would you go to India and participate in the tv show knowing the results were hanging over your head...... unless you are a publicity seeking dolloper . No time for her, any right minded "mum" would not have done that.

Its been reported that Jade knew about the chance she had cancer, but she said and her words were, "I just swept it under the carpet and thought it would go away" she also said that she needed the fee for appearing on the Indian version of BB and just had to go to India. I don't know what you lot think, but I just shook my head in disbelief when I read that. Brings an all new meaning to the statement Your Money or your Life, my life I'm saving up

The more i read about it the more i think my original thoughts were near the mark.
Even though she knew there was a big chance she had cancer she still flew to india,let it be announced on tv and used it as a publicity opportunity,very sad really.
