Yes carers should get more money.
I had to give up work a few years ago to care for my dad full time and it was nowhere near enough to get by on.
Yes there will always be people who abuse the system but that shouldn't mean that the genuine ones miss out.

It is like everything else the genuine cases have to fight tooth and nail because of the low lifes that think any benefits are put in place to help them get an easy ride through life. It makes my blood boil when genuine folk are knocked back and have to go to appeal just because some lazy sods don't give a toss about anybody but theirselves!!!
