The thread title says 'Hearmatge Street' and in the first post you say 'Hermatge Street'.

Neither made sense to me. I've heard of Hermitage Street so just asking if that was what you meant. :confused:

A678 [Blackburn Road] Rishton
both ways between Spring Street and A680, Whalley Road, Lancashire closed
Lancashire - Tottleworth Road closed both ways between the A678 Hermitage Street junction and the A678 Blackburn Road junction in Rishton, because of accident investigation work.

its the dip leading into rishton just after the dunk ,i had to turn back and go back to blackburn and down the motorway

i dont know if this is a fresh accident but a local told me somone went under the wheels of a waggon earlier today but it must have been after dinner coz i went through rishton at dinner and there wasnt any problem then

the police told me the road would be closed 4 a few hours i went to the bus stop and he said no bus tonight i said whats going on and he said nothing
