Water is off here, apparently there is a burst main on Southwood Drive. Must be a hell of a long pipe to affect us :confused:

its off here as well up fern gore but my friend has it at other end of the street :(, they said roughly an hour but it was more than that since i rang.

Updates on UU Site

BB5 Accrington 11:10 No water or low water pressure We started receiving calls from your area approx 11.05am today reporting no water. As we are unaware of any problems that can be causing this we have sent one of our Inspectors out to investigate. They are currently on their way. As soon as they report back to us the cause of the problem and what actions will be taken, this message will be updated. Update at 11.55am - Very bad burst has been located on Southwood Drive. This has caused the road to be closed and currently the police are in attendance. We have requested a gang attend as soon as possible and they will be on site within the next 2 hours to start the repair. Update at 2.15pm, the gang are on site and have started the repair Update at 3.30pm - Repair is still ongoing.

Phone call this morning about this.Rains non stop for 2 years,over inflated bills,no service.Makes you wonder what your paying for:confused:This day & age it should be sorted sraight away,no questions.Still so long as the directors of United Utilities are lining thier pockets why worry about the serfs who pay for thier so called service:mad:
