Alcapone vote rigging
Alcapone was often in the centre of union vote rigging allegations.Detectives found there was NO evidence of any iregularities. It was never proven because he was never directly involved in all aspects of union voting and always gave full co-operation to the investigating authorities as any completely innocent person would. He often called for the Chicago mayor to step down after unfounded allegations against him.It just shows how some people had sour grapes for Alcapone. The mental suffering Alcapone and his family endured from the Chicago authorities must have been unbarable. He was after all only trying to better the community. At a later date he did falter with the authorities but thats another story. Although I am not making any comparisons with councillor Allah Dad and Alcapone personally.Allegations of vote rigging and bullying allegations at the voting station by supporters of these two Gentlemen are similar.I am sure the public will see through these unfounded allegations and give there full support to councillor Allah.

Re: Alcapone vote rigging
Sorry but I'm completely lost. If you mean Alphonso Capone, also known as Scarface, gang boss and Mafia hood, I don't see the connection. I think you are attempting irony in your post but - it isn't working.

that or its really bad sarcasm, i havent decided yet lol

Re: Alcapone vote rigging
I understood what he was inferring - the wall of silence that the police were up against is the same as that which Chicago police had to contend with when they investigated the Mafia in the 1930s.
Al Capone never stood trial for crimes committed by his 'mob' - they only nailed him for tax fraud. |
Re: Alcapone vote rigging
Maybe it could have been added to the thread that was discussing the subject then people would have had a better idea of what it was about

Probably one of the addresses used for a postal vote, Gordie Cottage, Central Ward, Ireland. Nobody at the town hall would have sussed that one out :D |

I'm not, on this occasion, thinking of Al Pacino. I have thought about him a fair bit, in the past, wasn't he fantastic in Godfather II? My elder daughter doesn't know why I fancy "dark Italian types" (like him and John Travolta) - well - I just do, OK? No, I'm thinking of the overweight and very unpleasant Al Capone and I'm still nonplussed. |
Re: Alcapone vote rigging
