The Queen to buy £7,000,000 private jet

In the paper it says the Queen is about to spend £7 million on a private jet. She is actively involved in choosing from several options.

The cheeky cow has just asked the government for a pay increase too - Queen Elizabeth asks UK Government for pay rise

Fair enough if she's paying for it herself. As long as she keeps Randy Andy out of the Chinook helicopters when he goes to play golf...............

She has to get to the bingo somehow and Phil the Greek says taxis are too expensive.

She has never had a private jet and shares government planes used by government officials and military top brass.

It stated that we have spent £5.5 million last year on private charters has she often ends having here government flights changed or used for something else.

Supposedly having her own plane will save the country money

It would save the country a hell of a lot more money if we just scrapped her

Who will pay the cost of maintaining the darn thing?
Will she have her own private pilot and ground staff?

No doubt the RAF will provide this at our expense

Bearing in mind what happens when you have a republic, the USA, Russia, etc. I have no problem keeping things the way they are, I just wish she would use her power over the government more often, would love to see Gordon's face if she decided to disolve parliment!

Was it the one being tested over the channel this week. She will look great with that contraption strapped to her back.

Especially if she walked into Parliament with her Armies behind her. At least it is televised so we could all watch it live.

What I want to know is why she's butting a plane? Is she really frustrated?

That's nice.

Perhaps it'll dry her tears, the only ones ever shed in public, for the loss of the Royal Yacht Britannia.

How much do you reckon for the NHS to stabalise a drooping jaw?
Give him a peerage and send him to the funny farm.
I'ts her money.............would you rather see the money distributed to the waisters in Africa who consider the world should subsidise them?
She has done a bloody good job of keeping this country together and long may she reign.

Even as a republican I'll have to agree.

At least it'll keep her pseudo intellectual, defender of 'faiths', tree hugging, adulterous son from the throne.

Met him a few times, and he's very nice. Nice for someone who has a servant put his toothpaste on his brush every morning, and who has never does a day's hard work in his life.

Do I think that because of his birthright he should be the head of the country, and Supreme Governor of the Church of England?

No.
