Accyweb Radio disappointment
 

I just glanced at the radio ticker at the top of the screen and saw the words "go-go" trailing off the screen. I clicked, hoping that I was going to catch some of this:

Musically, it's not the most embarrassing thing that's happened in recent weeks though. At least I only had to explain to my wife why "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" leaped from my laptop speakers.

On Sunday, Pick Of The Pops on Radio 2 was doing 1981 while I was driving to Blackburn. Not a bad era, so rather than listen to my own MP3s I just left it on. I left the engine running while I popped into the shop for 30sec to pick up a camera (I didn't need it, I just don't like leaving them unattended), locked up, and went back to the car which had been surrounded by a bunch of youths. Opened the door to get in, and they found it very entertaining when the song that greeted me was "The Birdie Song" by the Tweets. :eek:

It is a racist term referring to the persecution of dingles ( people from a little run down town in East Lancashire called Burnley (and surrounding districts) but commonly used to refer to lancsdave)

Unfortunately, mainly due to inbreeding, many dingles have genetic defects. These manifest themselves mainly as low intellect and 90% of dingles have an extra finger. You can spot them easily when you hear them use the term "give me 6" and hold a hand in the air.
