Anyone I deem to be younger than my youngest (who's 22) is told "Not on your life sunshine, you're far too young to indulge". Not sure if it baffles them or they are gobsmacked at being refused, but I never get a back answer from the little darlings.

Can remember years ago, in my local, one of the regulars used to ask me if I could lend him a couple of quid until he got his giro. I fell soft and lent him 2 quid, sure enough on giro day the first thing he did was to pay me back. The only trouble was that latter the same week he asked me again and this went on for quite a while, but he always paid me back. After this had gone on for a couple of months he came to pay me back and I just said no its okay you keep it, now you'll never need to ask me again, and he didn't:rolleyes:
