Filming in Accy?

Just browsing the Daily Mail this morning whe I came across an article about the new BBC 1 drama 'Survivors'. The writer states ''I'm on the set in the grounds of an old country house, in a green remote corner of Lancashire, not too far from Accrington''
Does anyone know where the filming was done?

The filming was at Torside Hall Helmshore, the former home of the Mill owning Porritt family.
Filming took place from July through to September, the crew worked 12 hour days to meet filming schedules.
It certainly will be a good sales advert for the current owners!
The house is featured in the November issue of Lancashire Life. The following website has some info.

Seem to think that Sir Davd Trippier, the former MP for Rossendale and Darwen lived there. I know he had a big house in Helmshore at one time

No Jaysay that was Dowry Head former home of the local solicitors the Woodcocks.
They are both very fine houses, built in the 19 century for the local Mill owners, whilst their workers lived int local shed.
