Card meters are a pain, sometimes just to touch them is enough to turn them off, they have something like an tilt mechanism which shuts it off, people regularly bang them when storing stuff.

Hope you soon have gas, you must be freezing. Suppose you could go to the pub or to bed early with an extra blanket on.

please do not laght at me but the prob was it was switched of at the meater
the switch said it was on so i put it to of and we have gas
like i say thank you all for the advice
