In case Axxy Webbers have not heard of Bob Dobson`s latest publication I would like to draw your attention to it. The book runs to 72 pages each containing 2 or 3 well captioned photos showing scenes from the past, a few of which were contributed by yours truly. This is another must have for anyone with an interest in local history. Oh, and by the way, I don`t get commision for posting this. Just thought it worth mentioning. Don`t post much nowadays because of eyesight problem but would like to wish old and new members all the best for the Festive Season and New Year.

Anyone wanting this book that cant get to accrington library it can be ordered at oswaldtwistle library which i have done today and it will be there for me to pick up on tuesday
Also anyone who bought the book on ossy gobbiners quite a few years ago the front being in blue i believe there is another one with orange cover if anyone knows where ther is one please let me know i would be very grateful for any information on this.
