So sorry for your loss, Ozzypostie.

Sadly, this sort of despicable act is not uncommon. :(

My hubby is a funeral director so I've heard of this many times and it makes me sick every time.

Why do they do it? What's in it for them other than to cause an already grieving family even more distress?

Scumbags.

So sorry to hear this Ozzypostie.

How does it even enter someones mind to do something like this? People like this are just not "wired up" right are they! No words that i could put on here could adequately reflect the contempt i feel for these scum.

Take Care - Taggy

Yet another reminder of the scum that live amongst us, they want castrating so they can't breed

derekgas 21-12-2008 18:22

Re: warning theves

If it was (and probably was) that did this horrible deed, they probably had no clue as to the distress they would cause, which puts in a nutshell how ignorant and disrespectful some people raise their kids to be, I hope they get all their christmas presents nicked by some similar scum, they may feel a small part of the grief they have caused.

Aah, Ossypostie, how awful for you to have lost a baby. I know this is an unthinkable theft, but they are only materialistic items after all, and your visits to your daughter's grave whispering your messages to her will be heard I am sure and nobody can take those away .. x

Nickelson 22-12-2008 12:47

Re: warning theves

So sorry to hear this Ossy .
It only brings me to beg that relatives or friends who have a heart may bring these scumbags to justice.
Someone must know who they are!!!!

Re: warning theves

What a brilliant idea. Why don't you speak to the Telegraph as well and ask for information in case anyone saw them at it? Do you know what time of day it was taken?

ozzypostie 22-12-2008 16:19

Re: warning theves

Sorry to hear about this OP.
You any photos of the missing items? might be a good idea to show them if you have, that way any parents who's kids have come home with these items will have an idea then where they have come from

I hope they see it too Ozzypostie ... or their parents (if young people). They are not the standard type of items are they that go unnoticed ? Also, sure it will help your wife to share it with the local people. x
