I wouldn't say it is a load of rubbish because it isn't saying that we can't do the Hokey Cokey, it's saying its origins are less than pleasant and it's recently been seen to be used against the original targets of the song!

Lots of songs like that have origins you wouldn't predict and lots are questionable origins too... the Hokey Cokey may date back earlier than what the catholic church are saying for all we know... or for all they know!

lol this is a religious organisation complaining about a kids song been anti catholic and today on the news their pope has apparently banned people with strong gay beliefs from attending certain meetings

didnt catch the full story but the popes been upseting the gay folk in some way or other but lets get priorities right and get this damn hokey cockey banned lol

The church in Scotland is very insular, and very much involved with politics up there.

I've faced the Scottish Kirk in a court of law, on a matter relating to equal rights.

They play a dirty game, but not as well as me...because we won.:D
