Re: Dyslexia is a fiction says MP
When my son was at school there were twins in his class who both had Dyslexia, they used different coloured cards to help them. Would have thought school would be able to help you. If it were me I would ask his teacher.

Re: Dyslexia is a fiction says MP
Hiya
My daughter has dyslexia (as do her father and Grandfather), we had lots of trouble getting her diagnosed and only actually managed to do this about 2 years ago. The "problem" with Caitlin is not reading, its writing and spelling, in fact she has a well above average reading age. Clowns like this MP help no-one and I have sent him a letter saying so. My partner was undiagnosed dyslexic at school and was in remedial classes (diagnosed as thick !!!), since he was diagnosed he has done a degree in History and is now a qualified Registered Mental Nurse. I've fought hard to get ESAP funding at school for my daughter (being a Councillor REALLY didn't help before you say it !!!), so if anyone needs any pointers please contact me and I'll try my best to help. caitlin has yellow tinted lenses in her glasses and she has really come along since she got them |

Re: Dyslexia is a fiction says MP
so we can add it to the list of 'made up' conditions then...like adhd, autism, dyspraxia and aspergers.
no wonder its so difficult for special needs kids to get the diagnosis and help that they need now !! |
