instead of the worlds largest peardrop been on display with it been accy we will probably be displaying teh worlds biggest rolled up bogie lol

dont think many people will be queing to have a lick on that :D

ahh but the accy one wont have coaches filled with nutty old people on motorised scooter things so your ankles will be safer in accy lol

hope they realise that when selling gloves in accy the gloves will not require room for the extra thumb like in ossy mills

Noticed there was work in progress when I walked past earlier. Hope it does well because the empty shops are very off putting.

That's good news as far as I am concerned, specially if they have some concessions in there, home made stuff, maybe some home furnishings etc. It's a big old unit that, glad someone has taken it on so quickly, I had heard a rumour that there were several interested parties but glad it's stayed local.:)
IF Accrington Stanley had any business acumen about them they would be looking to get in there......:rolleyes:

I worked for Ray Lyndon in the early 80s he had a store which was the old Palace cinema on the corner of Peel Street, I managed the DIY store up stairs and the ground floor was made up of concessions, including a cafe, pet food, food, shoes, perfume and toiletries, handbags, jewelry and others, did very well and was always quite busy

Don't know panther, Ray sold it and I finished through ill health just prior to that:confused: but that cafe was great, Ray was never eally pleased when t was his turn to buy the breakfast and I ordered a Bacon Butty:D
