Two lads killed and these people even shot the pizza man in Antrim..the real IRA are paddy scumbags ...and to my thinking these people are no better than the Tube bombers or any other terrorist ..what do you reckon?

No, of course they are no different from any other terrorists.

I hope this is a one off, and is dealt with swiftly, allowing the people of Northern Ireland to get on with their lives just like the rest of us.

It is more likely a one off reported over here. We hear very little about what is going on over there anymore. I was offered a job at our plant in Northern Ireland a few years ago. When I watched TV and read the papers while over there not much has changed, less violence maybe but nasty things were still going on. I got the impression we had just stopped reporting it in the UK.

Of course there are still some people who live in physical as well as mental ghettoes, and there is still separation based on religious grounds, and I've no doubt that there is still some violence, but for nearly ten years there's been no killings, unlike the hundreds who died in the thirty years before the Good Friday Peace Agreement was signed.

fer my money these scum bags in the "Real Ira" should be named publicly, as fer me many of the folk in northern ireland have moved on since the agreement,so feel sure these trash would be "shopped" pretty quickly. fer me there is no-way Mcguiness n his cronies do not know who they are, so whilst he condems this outrage, why dont he SHOP EM?:mad:

According to the news these guys have been under the eye of the SF for some time and all have been on high alert over there.sadly they just didnt have enough intelligence to pin point the attack.
Pray to god this is a one off and not the start of something else, Our lads have enough to contend with atm ,
The guys that had to fly off to afghan just a few hours later must have been distraught at this attack to lose two of their guys before going off to a potential warzone.
Just hope these scum are caught named and shamed.Its such an awful cowardly attack:mad:

From what I understand what you say is correct they are all known and monitored.
There was a policy for a short period to set up supposedly easy targets for the I R A and the S A S would be in waiting.There was many I R A members killed this way but the British goverment stopped this policy due to pressure from P C brigades home and abroad.In theory basically all of these terrorist groups could be taken out if the Republic co-operated using special forces but the complications would be endless.

There's something wrong when people who murder kids and pregnant women can walk around in freedom...what sort of state can allow this?...the law has got it wrong in this case.
