Wimbledon starts today !

In what is now a British tradition, much of the tournament is likely to be a wash out.

Forecasters were last night predicting heavy showers on day one.
'It looks bright in the morning but, in the afternoon, there will be more showers and heavy rain,' said weather expert Lucy Verasamy.

The situation looks set to continue into tomorrow, when Tim Henman's campaign swings into action against little-known Spaniard Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo.
And it does not get any better. 'Wednesday will be awful - complete washout' she said.

Of course the other British tradition is that Henman wont win.

It's good to see Martina Navaratalova will be playing in the singles this year, she will be on court at 12pm. Hope she does well, always the peoples favourate.

On a sunnier note, when going to Wimbledon, forget cream on strawberries.

Scientists at Nottingham University have discovered that Yoghurt is the best thing for bringing out their flavour.

Wish I could write '1st class honours degree in Strawberry eating' on my CV.
