Breath of fresh air?
I was surprised to read of the Postmaster banning people who didn't speak English from his shop.
I feared that the BNP had bought a post office, but no Siri Lankan born Deva Kumarasiri, insists that all customers converse in English,he embraces the way of life of his adoptive country and states," If things don't change we will see a third generation of immigrants who can't speak English." Whilst applauding his frankness, can't help thinking he should be wary of the thought police. |
Re: Breath of fresh air?
i thought it was brilliant...but like it said on telly this morning, if he had been white it would have been classed as being racist....certain people and certain things yet again

Re: Breath of fresh air?
This is probably a publicity stunt, and if it is, I hope he makes a fortune out of it, and I hope more like him jump on the band wagon, makes a change from the other band wagon that many ethnics jump onto.
