I believe most people are chapped by the seemingly endless PC admonitions and probably ignore them - particularly when amongst family and friends. However, the President of the United States ought to know better than make thoughtless remarks in public. I guess he was sans teleprompter that evening.

Since politicians are so fond of telling us all what to do, think and say, I relish those moments when one of them gets hoisted by his or her own petard.
